Theresa Anna Williams

November 9, 1957 — July 15, 2025

Theresa Anna Williams, a radiant soul whose laughter was as infectious as her compassion was boundless, returned to her Creator on July 15, 2025, after a valiant battle with diabetes complications. Born on November 9, 1957, in Livingston, Alabama, Theresa's journey of 67 years was marked by love, service, and an unwavering faith.

In Houston, Texas, where she passed, Theresa left behind a legacy of warmth and generosity. As the beating heart of her family, she is survived by her adored children, Corey Pounds, Koreya Pounds, and Brandon Earnest. Her role as "Nana" to Coriah Pounds, Ja'Marlon Earnest, and Kyra E. Bowen, as well as her two great-grandchildren, was performed with joy and boundless love. Though her parents, Claborn and Delia Williams, predeceased her, the family tree she nurtured continues to grow through her siblings Dorothy Kelly (married to Ernest Kelly Jr.), Claborn (Nick) Williams Jr., Curtis, Willie, Rosalind (Rose), Johnny (with Billie Williams), Aprella (April), Larvon (Von) Mabry (joined by Zack Mabry), and Angela (Angie) Williams. A constellation of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also mourn her loss, each touched by her kindness.

Theresa was a woman of faith and family. As we are with sorrow and Joy of her no longer suffering, let's all honor her and read ALL on one accord.... LETS READ : Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, Give us this day our daily bread and

forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, lead us, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever
Amen . Matthew 6:9-13

As a professional, Theresa's nurturing nature found a perfect outlet in her work as a medical assistant and phlebotomist. Patients and colleagues alike were often greeted with her warm smile and an encouraging word, making even the most routine medical appointments an encounter with kindness.

Ernestine Sims, Theresa's longtime cousin/ best friend, and kindred spirit will fondly remember their shared escapades and heart-to-heart conversations. Together, they navigated life's highs and lows with faith and laughter always at the forefront.

Theresa's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit remains a beacon for all who knew her. The words kind, loving, and friendly are but a pale reflection of the incredible woman she was. Her laughter, her compassion, her unwavering friendship, and her love for her family and her Lord are the indelible marks she leaves on this world.

As we bid farewell to Theresa Anna Williams, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. She walked with the Lord, and now she dances with the angels, leaving us with memories as bright as the morning sun and as sweet as the choir's song. Rest well, Theresa, until we meet again.
