Terry Lynn Duncan Moy was born on July 13, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on October 19, 2026, in Texas City, Texas.

Terry lived a life shaped by faith, curiosity, and a genuine interest in the people around her. She was always asking questions and enjoyed learning about the lives, experiences, and stories of the people she met. The friendships she formed throughout her life left lasting impressions on those who knew her.

Her Christian faith was an important part of her life. Terry was deeply committed to her church and regularly helped organize Bible classes at the library in Seguin, creating opportunities for others to gather, study Scripture, and grow in their faith. Her church community was an important part of her life.

Terry spent her working years in a variety of roles and fields, building connections with people from many walks of life. Beyond her work and church involvement, she treasured time spent outdoors, especially camping with her sons. She loved the Guadalupe River and the beauty of the Texas Hill Country, places that held a special place in her heart and were part of the memories she made with her family.

Friends remember Terry as sweet, joyful, and full of life. She enjoyed getting to know people, sharing experiences, and making connections that endured through the years. Her curiosity about others and the friendships she cultivated were meaningful parts of her life’s story.

Terry was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; her father, John; her brother, John; and her son, John.

She is survived by her sons, Robert and his wife, Sapingkhone (Spring), Eli and his wife, Dera; her daughter-in-law, Adrian; her eight grandchildren, Logan, Madi, Macie, Adam, Kaleb, Kainan, Kornelius, and Lincoln; and her three great-grandchildren, Rome, Royce Jr., and Emberlynn.

Terry’s life touched people in many places, from the church and library in Seguin to the workplaces and communities where she spent her years. She will be remembered by friends, former coworkers, and members of her church community for her faith, her curiosity about others, and the memories they shared with her.

May her memory be held with grace, and may those who knew her find comfort in the moments, friendships, and experiences they will carry with them.
