Beloved mother and faithful wife Teresa Gray passed peacefully from this world on April 27, 2026.
Teresa was a woman of unwavering faith and whose love for the Lord shone through every aspect of her life. She was a founding member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Corrigan Texas. She found joy in prayer, strength in scripture and peace in the promise of eternal life. She shared her faith through kindness, compassion and her unyielding trust in God.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 49 years, Darrell Gray of Chester Texas and by their 4 children whom she raised in the ways of the Lord, teaching them to love, to serve and to trust in Him always. Her eldest daughter Rebecca Barton and son in law Steven Barton of Chester Texas. Her daughter Marrinda Gray and partner David Helm and their son David (5) of Lufkin Texas. Her son Lloyd Gray and daughter in law Kara Gray with their children Emry (12) and Russel (9) of Zanesville Ohio, Her son Michael Gray and daughter in law Jelina Gray with their children Cameron (7) and Anthony (6) of Chester Texas. It was Teresa’s heartfelt desire for her children to stay strong in the Lord and to be a comfort for their Dad as well as each other.
Teresa was a phenomenal cook and loved to share her food with family and friends, especially her famous chicken and dumplings. Teresa loved her home and her many pets. She was always available to provide a listening ear, words of comfort and the warmth of her love.
Timothy 4-7 “..I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith..”Teresa, now rest in the arms of the savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty.
