A Life well Lived...........

Stephen Craig Johnson (affectionately known as Craig or Cee) was born on May 1, 1971, in Houston, TX. He was the middle child born to Thomas and Sandra Johnson.

Craig was full of curiosity and determination and lived a life on his terms, filled with laughter and unwavering love for family and friends.

Craig attended Ross Sterling High School, but later graduated from Willowridge High School class of 1990. He excelled academically, which led to a full academic scholarship to the University of Houston, where he gained the nickname “Crusty.”

Craig passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Johnson, and mother, Sandra Johnson Martin.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Johnathan Black; his Life Partner, Kimberly Hodge; his siblings, Kelvin Johnson-Minor (Eric), PeTrina Moore, Rolonda Johnson, Eric Johnson, Jurae Johnson, Travis Martin (LaTosha), and JeSheika Pratt (Christopher); his beloved nieces and nephews, T’Nae LeBrun, Christian London, Christian Johnson, Jazmyn Henderson, Alexis Williams, Laurianna Martin, Chasity Pratt, JeZiah Pratt, Trustan Martin, and Loyal Martin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Craig’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
