Sharon Leger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Ann Dupre Leger, aged 74, of Beaumont, who went ahead of us to experience the unimaginable joy of Heaven while surrounded by family and loved ones after a courageous battle with end-stage breast cancer on October 12th 2026.   

   Born on August 8th 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas, Sharon was the beloved daughter of Wallace Dupre and Crystal Schuster, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Dupre.

 “Miss Sharon” dedicated her career as a patient coordinator in the medical field before retiring. During those many years, she had served others with the same compassion, warmth, and kindness that defined every aspect of her life.

 Her hobbies included playing a game of gin rummy with her mother, arts and crafts, visiting with family members and friends, reading books, soaking up the sunshine and an extraordinary love for her pets, who were never far from her side. She was truly one of a kind.

 Everyone blessed to know her felt her deep love, and her memory will live in our hearts until we see her again. 

She is survived by her husband Bryan Leger; her children, Robbie Hood (wife Cheryl Hood), Christy Kenon (husband Michael Kenon), Jerry Hood (wife Shelbi Hood) and Brandon Davis (wife Kristen Davis); her 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her siblings Mitchell Dupre, (wife Judy Dupre), Joey Dupre (wife Cindy Dupre), Gina Dupre, James Dupre (wife Cheryl Dupre), Richard Wagnon and countless extended family and friends that loved her so dearly.

In accordance with Sharon’s wishes, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date by the family. It is requested that in-lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.
