Sally Kay Sears: 5/1/1937 to 10/15/2025. Born Sally Kay Bennett in Akron, Ohio. Parents: Horace Bennett and Mary Bennett. Brother: David Bennett. All are deceased. Sally Married Victor Shell Sears in Mexico City, DF, Mexico as an exchange student from Kent State in 1959 and bore fraternal twin sons, Victor and Marcus in Jan. 1960. The Sears family moved to Houston, TX in 1963 and have remained there since except for Victor Jr who lives with his family in Lexington, KY, Victor Sr passed July 3, 2017. Sally is survived by her sons, Victor and Marcus and Victor’s family: Wife Sheri, and sons/grandsons Dylan and Erik. 

Sally was librarian by profession and worked for the Houston Public Library, Jackson Middle School and the High School for Law Enforcement. She was also involved with her husband Victor in running Los Troncos Restaurant in the Montrose area. 

Sally was a loving wife and mother and grandmother who was strong and capable and was a reason for a large part of the success of the Sears family and Los Troncos Restaurant. She had a boisterous laugh and loved a good risque joke, was very loyal to friends and had a big heart and was very sympathetic to people from all walks of life. She will be missed very much by family and friends.
