Robert Cantrell

Robert “Bob” Troy Cantrell, born September 10, 1960, in Elkhart Indiana, passed away on May 14, 2026.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Dorothy Davis; his brother, Eric Davis; his son, Robert Troy Cantrell II; his sister, Jennifer Kucenski; and his partner, Norma Bates.

He is survived by his children, Jamie (Sammy) Grimaldo, Elisha (Russ) Singley, and Sierra (Jacob) Nicholson. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Cantrell and his wife Wendy. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Sebastian, Avery (Zachary Gonzales), and McKinley Grimaldo; Thomas and Raylynn Cox; Connor Yarborough; and Gunnar, Annika, and Revna Nicholson, along with seven great-grandchildren.

Bob was a skilled and crafty carpenter who enjoyed working with his hands. He also had a love for motorcycles and cars and spent much of his time around them throughout his life.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him, and may his family find peace in the days ahead.
