Reynard Embery Faison, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed from his life on September 11, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born in Mansfield, Louisiana on July 5, 1960 to parents, Willie Ray and Bettye Jean Faison.
In 1978, after graduating from DeSoto High School in Louisiana, Reynard wanted to further his education and sharpen his skills in a trade he was passionate about, so he made the decision to move to Texas and attend Texas Southern University where in 1984, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Drafting and Design.
While living in Texas, Reynard built a life marked by steady commitment, skill, and versatility with his working career reflecting both talent and perseverance. He was known to often wear many hats as a CAD designer and brought care, professionalism, and his diligent work ethic to every role he held. From 1988 to 1996, he worked at Roy F. Weston as a draftsman, then moved on to work at Laidlaw Environmental from 1996 to 1997 as a CAD operator and field tech. From 1997 to 2002, he served at ENSRN Inc. as an operator and manager in the CAD department. Then in 2003, he joined Terracon, where he would remain employed until his heavenly transition. But beyond his formal positions throughout his life, Reynard also helped many other companies, friends, and loved ones with different tasks just to lend a helping hand, a true reflection of his generous spirit and dependable nature.
Outside of work, Reynard loved spending time with family and friends and found immeasurable joy in working in the yard, gardening, and gun collecting. These interests spoke to a man of purpose who could repair, build, and create so many different things, one who also appreciated both patience and precision, a man who took great pride in caring for people and things with his own hands and make life a little easier for those around him.
Reynard was preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Bettye Faison. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his precious daughter, Sabrina Faison; grandkids, Kiaron Odomes Jr. and Elayna Odomes; brother, Donny R. Faison; niece, Lynnora Faison; cousins: Fredrick Faison, Lydell Faison, and Eric Zeno; dear friend, Joan Chatman; as well as many other relatives and countless friends.
Reynard’s memory will remain a lasting source of light, strength, and love in many hearts and lives. His life may have come to its earthly close, but the imprint he has left on those around him will never fade. The love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will continue to live on.
