Randy Merro Love

January 12, 1961 – September 16, 2026 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Merro Love, who passed away on September 16, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born on January 12, 1961, to Wade Merro Love and Jane Stuart Love, Randy lived a life filled with laughter, determination, and a genuine love for family and friends. He had a special gift for bringing people together and creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. 

Randy graduated from Waltrip High School in 1979 and later developed a talent for mechanics, supported by technical training he received through Texas Instruments. He was resourceful, and always willing to put his skills to good use. Family was at the center of Randy's life. He especially looked forward to holiday gatherings, where he enjoyed spending time with loved ones and carrying on cherished traditions. One of his greatest joys was cooking, and he took particular pride in preparing his mother's famous corn bread dressing from scratch, generously sharing it with his family.

 His meals brought warmth, comfort, and togetherness to every gathering. Randy also enjoyed bowling and spent many hours at the lanes, occasionally competing in tournaments and celebrating a few victories along the way. Yet his greatest passions were country dancing and real estate. Whether he was gliding across a dance floor with confidence and joy or searching online for the next promising property, Randy pursued his interests with enthusiasm and dedication. He loved the challenge of finding a great real estate opportunity and imagining what it could become. Those who knew Randy will fondly remember his storytelling, with tales of his life experiences, sharing moments that were both humorous and heartfelt. His stories, laughter, and unique perspective on life made every conversation memorable. 

Randy was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Geneva Delores Love, and his parents, Wade and Jane Love. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving sister, Daphne Bryan, and her husband, Cliff Bryan, along with their son, Zach Bryan, his beloved nephew; his brother, William "Billy" Love, and his wife, Debra Love; as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his enduring spirit. 

While Randy's absence leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy lives on through the love he shared and the memories he created. May those who knew and loved him find comfort in remembering his warm smile, his large heart, and the joy he brought to all. Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. ❤️
