Porfirio “Perry” Templanza Jr., 59, was born on November 26, 1966, in Salinas, California, and passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.

Perry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sally V. Ornelas, whom he missed dearly; his grandmother, Juana Teñosa Templanza; and his grandfather, Gregorio Templanza, both of the Philippines. He is survived by his father, Porfirio “Perry” Templanza Sr., and his wife, Selma Templanza.

He leaves behind his loving children: his daughter, Desirae Rodriguez, and her fiancé, Joe Lopez, along with his cherished grandchildren, Taylor, Nevaeh, Maddie, and Noah. He is also survived by his two sons, Jesse Rodriguez and Donovan Rodriguez.

Perry will be deeply missed by his siblings: his five sisters, Sylvia Sarmiento, Debbie Templanza, Judith Romo (Manuel Romo), Juana Schmidt (Curbey Schmidt), and Petra Fowler (Robby Fowler), and his brother, Patrick Templanza.

He is also survived by his aunt, Judith Gegato of the Philippines, along with many beloved cousins, relatives, and extended family members in the Philippines.

He is also survived by seven nieces, twelve nephews, many extended family members, and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Although Perry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is free from pain and resting in love.
