Oscar Montoya

February 5, 1953 — January 26, 2026

Oscar Montoya passed away on January 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep love for his family.

Oscar was a hard worker who believed that providing for his family was both his duty and his greatest honor. Through long days and steady commitment, he built a life rooted in sacrifice and responsibility. He did not seek recognition or praise; instead, he found fulfillment in knowing his family was cared for and supported.

Known for his passive and non-confrontational nature, Oscar carried himself with gentleness and humility. He approached life with patience and calm, choosing peace over conflict and kindness over harshness. His steady presence brought comfort to those around him, and his quiet resilience spoke volumes about his character.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, whose partnership and love were the foundation of his life; his only daughter, Vanessa Loren Montoya, who carried his pride and admiration; and the apple of his eye, his cherished grandson, Liam Eliud Guerra, who brought him immeasurable joy and light. Also, our family dogs Bandit & Bruno.

Oscar’s life was defined not by grand gestures, but by his steadfast passive nature, hard work, and the simple profound act of daily presence in his family's life. He enjoyed playin acoustic and electric guitar as well as accordion and loved all genre of music one of his passions.

Part of Oscars memory will forever live with Liam through the oldies they shared together, here is to the summer of '69. As well as in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

May he rest in well-deserved peace.
