Michael Wynn Martin, 73, of Tyler, TX, passed away on April 2nd, 2026.

Mike was born on June 21st, 1952, to R. and Helen Martin in Lubbock, TX. After high school graduation, he joined the Army.

He was in the Army, worked at a paper mill, was an exterminator, a dance instructor, and many other things.

In 2009, Mike met Susan Crane on the dance floor. They hit it off and never left each other's side. Together they have 3 kids: Michael, Brandy, and Ayric.

Mike was a gentle soul with a lot to say. He enjoyed telling stories from his Army days. He loved to dance, but more importantly, he loved teaching people to dance. Mike was always doing something, from picking up grandkids from school to working on the house.

Everyone that knew Mike knew he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mike is survived by his wife Susan, his three kids Brandy, Michael, Ayric, and two siblings, Fey and Betty.

A funeral will be held April 11th, 2026 from 4-6pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. 2001 Hunter St, Tyler, TX 75701
