Melvyn Louis Phaup of Humble, Texas, passed away on 8/28/2026 at the age of 85.
He was a country boy who spent many decades as a florist in the city. He had a lifelong love of music and enjoyed attending music festivals across the country. He was a good friend to many, loved his family, and enjoyed good food, especially when it wasn't terribly healthy.
He is survived by his daughter Nancy Phaup, his brothers Jimmy Phaup and Larry White, his sisters Janice Theiler and Wanda White.
