Lynn Buster Baxter III

December 15, 1971 – May 30, 2025

Lynn Baxter III, aged 53, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Baytown, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on December 15, 1971, in Arkansas, Lynn led a life that was rich with laughter, kindness, and cherished memories. He was best remembered for his infectious laughter, especially when telling a joke—often to the point where he could hardly finish due to his own merriment. His ability to make others smile with his quick wit and affectionate nicknames was nothing short of a gift.

Lynn’s greatest joy was derived from bringing happiness to those around him. He had a remarkable talent for lighting up any room he entered, and the warmth of his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his final months, Lynn was lovingly cared for by his sister, Cindy Jimenez, who provided support and comfort during this difficult time.

His daughter, Katelynn Baxter, and her mother, Teresa Baxter, filled his room with love during his final moments.

Lynn is survived by his daughter, Katelynn Baxter, and her mother, Teresa Baxter. His siblings include Cindy Jimenez, Yuvonne Cooke, Kathy Baxter Fernandez, Diane Bell, Kay Baxter, Treva Ables, along with his brother Terry Baxter and his wife Deanna (Lady) Baxter. Lynn also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. A lifelong childhood friend, Thomas Hartman, Lynn fondly remembered their friendship in his final moments.

He now reunites in peace with his parents, Lynn and Lorene Baxter, and his brother's —Billy, Donnie, and Roger Baxter, as well as his sister Susan Nicar.

“Love, Me” by Collin Raye was more than just a favorite song for Lynn; it was a tribute to the love he shared so freely and the deep connections he cherished throughout his life.

Lynn was the youngest of 12 children and was absolutely his mother's favorite child as all of his siblings agreed. Lynn swore he fell in love when he was 13 . Lol 13! So funny. The thing is ..he ended up marrying that girl years later and they had a beautiful daughter Katelynn. Can you imagine finding the love of your life at 13 ? He knew. He honestly loved her with his last breath.

Lynn wasn't just an uncle to his nephews he was their friend. Fishing, hunting, hanging out and having a good time with them.

Lynn Baxter passed away with Teresa Baxter and Katelynn Baxter filling his room with love . His mother got her favorite child back. My father was there with Lynn's 3 brothers and sister Susan to meet him and go fishing. He led a much larger life than one could ever tell but we hope you have an understanding of our loved one  Your spirit is in us all. You did good.
