Loyal Charles Kletzien

Loyal Kletzien died on April 1, 2026 in Houston, Texas of complications of pneumonia. Loyal was born on March 18, 1957 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Ronald and Joyce (McCormick) Kletzien. He graduated from Brodhead High School in 1975 and went to University of Wisconsin-Plattville. After graduation from there he moved to Houston, where he has been a long time resident. He worked in retail for a number of years and also had a pet sitting business. He is survived by his husband, William O’Rourke, of Houston, sisters Christine Grannis of Madison, WI and Helene (Steve) Gyarmaty of Brookfield, WI, brother, Dr. Rolf Kletzien (Judith) of Kalamazoo, MI. He is further survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Joyce Kletzien, sisters Anne Louise Lutz and Margaret Mary Kletzien. Loyal will be remembered as a quiet and gentle soul.  Private family graveside services will be held at a later date
