Kimberly Dow, 57, passed away on August 4, 2026, in Houston. She was born in Houston on April 4, 1969, to James Dow Sr. and Melinda Hancock.
Kimberly had a deep love for animals. Over the years she volunteered with a number of animal shelters and rescues, giving her time and care to creatures in need.
She never married and had no children, but she was a loving aunt to her nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Dow Sr. and Melinda Dow, and by her brothers, Jim Dow and Wade Dow. She is survived by her nephews, Preston Dow and Blake Dow.
The family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kimberly’s memory to the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network.
