Keith Aaron Parsons

August 14, 1989 — April 1, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Aaron Parsons, 35, who left us on April 1, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on August 14, 1989, in Huntington, West Virginia, Keith was known for bringing light, laughter, and warmth into the lives of all who knew him.

A graduate of Cy-Creek High School in 2007, Keith was known for his sharp mind, quick wit, and heart full of love. His playful, goofy nature made him the jokester in any room, but beneath the humor was a deeply caring soul who loved fiercely. He was also known for his love of reading, history, geography, science, and all things crypto, all of which fueled his curiosity and passion for learning.

Keith's life was marked by challenges, including a long battle with opioid addiction. For nine years, his family stood by him through every high and low, never losing faith in his strength and desire to heal. Recently, Keith achieved four months of sobriety—a milestone that brought renewed hope to those who loved him. Throughout his struggles, he wanted nothing more than the chance to be a dad to his son, Dax, and his daughter, Daisy, and to strengthen his relationships with his brother, Kevin, and sister, Alyssa.

Sadly, the fight became too much, and Keith was taken from us far too soon. However, his journey was also one of courage and love. Before his passing, Keith accepted Jesus as his Savior, and his family takes comfort in knowing they will be reunited with him in eternity.

Keith is survived by his children, Dax and Daisy Parsons; his father, Bryan Parsons; his mother, Susan Parsons; his brother, Kevin Parsons; and his sister, Alyssa Parsons. He is also remembered by his many friends and extended family whose lives he touched with his warmth and humor.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Vicky Dianne Billups and Barbara Jean Roesler; his grandfather, John James Pollack; his great-grandparents, Esther Magdalene Parsons and Edgar Otis Parsons; his great-grandmother, Barbara N. Roesler; his aunt, Vicky Jean Mazyn; great-aunt, Deborah Faye Macleod; and great-uncle, Bruce Allen Parsons.

Keith’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will always be remembered for his strength, love, and the wit he brought to everyone he met.

We love you always, Keef.

A private memorial will be held to honor Keith’s life at a later date.
