John Paul Hare

John Paul Hare, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on March 21, 1946, in Kansas City, he lived a remarkable life full of accomplishments and passions.
John was a man of incredible ingenuity and curiosity, dedicating his career to diverse fields, including aerospace engineering and oil and gas production. A true innovator, he held several patents and approached his work with both precision and creativity.
Outside of his professional life, John loved to build and create. From children’s toys to full-scale homes, his craftsmanship was unparalleled. He had an enduring love for cars, planes, and sailboats, embodying his adventurous and driven spirit.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Ann Foster Hare; his children and their spouses: John Paul Hare Jr. (Joy Quinn), Monnie Hare Hightower (Brian Hightower), and his adopted children, Jack Paul Hare and Reagan Colette Hare; his stepchildren Dewanna Dworaczyk and David Halbert; his sister, Emily Hare Sezonov; his sister-in-law, Janell Hare; nieces and nephews Jan Hare Krueger, Dan Hare, Luke Sezonov, and Matt Sezonov; and his cherished grandchildren Morgan Paul Hightower, Ryder Scott Hightower, Sadie Hare-Quinn, Daniel Dworaczyk, Johnny Walker, Kaitlynn Klopfer, Kirsten Halbert, and Andrew Halbert.
He was preceded in death by his father Sammy Hare, his mother Emily Hare, his brothers Don Hare and David Hare, and his late first wife, Donna Tietze Hare.
John’s legacy of innovation, craftsmanship, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
