Jesse Garcia Jr., born December 12, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 89. He was the beloved son of Jesus Garcia and Guadalupe L. Garcia and grew up surrounded by the love of his siblings—Joyce, Lee, and Rosemarie (Rudy)—each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Jesse’s life was defined by dedication, hard work, and deep devotion to family. He began his career in the insurance industry, later discovering a passion for the automotive business, where he became the proud owner of Alamo Auto Sales. His strong work ethic, honesty, and genuine care for people were the foundation of his success.
Jesse shared a loving life with his wife, Eva C. Garcia, and together they raised four children: Jesse (wife Maria), Conrad (preceded in passing), Greg, and Liz (husband Joe). He cherished his family deeply and took great pride in the lives they built.
Jesse was blessed with many grandchildren—Greg Allen, Erin, Ashley, Hayley, Jordan, and Mackenzie—all of whom brought him tremendous joy. He also treasured his numerous great-grandchildren, who added an extra spark to his final years. Holidays and family gatherings were some of his happiest moments, filled with laughter, warmth, and love.
Jesse enjoyed fishing and was a lifelong sports fan. He proudly supported the Houston Oilers and later the Houston Texans, along with that brought him excitement and connection with those he loved.
Jesse was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. He built relationships with kindness & sincerity, leaving lasting impressions on everyone he encountered.
The family extends a special and heartfelt thank you to Greg Garcia, who served as Jesse’s primary caregiver during his final years. Greg’s dedication and compassion made Jesse’s days easier and more comfortable. Jesse often expressed his gratitude by saying, “I love you, son,” words that reflected their deep bond.
Jesse now rejoins his beloved wife Eva, his son Conrad, and many cherished relatives who have gone before him. Although he will be deeply missed, his memory lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He will forever be remembered with love, honor, and gratitude.
