Jared Adam Neely, affectionately known as, “Uncle Weirdo”, “JAN”, “J”, and “Mechanix”, left this earth for heaven on February 25, 2025. He was born March 12, 1993.
Jared graduated from Klein Collins High School where he was a member of the marching band and drummer for jazz ensemble. In 2011, Jared achieved the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America.
Jared had a successful career at Firestone Tire and Auto, where he worked as a salesman for the past six years. He also held the position of Tire Sales Manager.
Jared was passionate about computers and online gaming. He built his own customized set-ups and was a longtime member of the gaming community. He competed as a semi-professional overwatch player with the Genex ESPORTS Overwatch Team for two years. He also had a love of cars, all kinds.
The youngest of four, Jared brought love and joy to his family. He leaves behind his parents, John and Lisa Neely, brother Clayton (Brittany), brother Matthew, sister Katie Moreau (Jason), nieces and nephews, Isabella, Wyatt, Kinsley, Kaleigh, Quinn, Madison, McKenna, and Forrest; maternal grandmother Sylvia Dorsey. He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather Kent Gillock, and paternal grandparents Bill and Donnie Neely,
A celebration of life will be held at Spring Baptist Church (Klein Campus) on April 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., 21825 Bridgestone Lane, Spring, Texas 77388. His favorite color is royal blue. If anyone would like to wear blue, it would be appreciated.
He is loved and so very missed by his friends and family.
