Israel James Martin

November 22, 1995 — September 6, 2025

Israel James “Izzy” Martin, 29, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. Born on November 22, 1995, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Izzy lived his life with a spirited joy that touched everyone he met

From a young age, Izzy showed an incredible drive to succeed and a natural ability to connect with people. He attended Eisenhower Middle and High School in Lawton, proudly graduating on May 19, 2015. Always persistent and goal-oriented, Izzy balanced both education and work, attending Cameron University while employed at Taco Bell—a sign of his determination and strong work ethic.

That drive carried him into a successful career path. Izzy first joined RAC, where his hard work and enthusiasm fast-tracked him into management. Later, he discovered his passion for sales and found his niche in the automotive world, working with Dodge and Kia dealerships. He loved helping people find the right car—and even more so, he loved the conversations, the smiles, and the friendships that grew from serving others.

Beyond his professional life, Izzy was known for his boundless energy, humor, and kindness. He was devoted to his family—his mother Carolyn Martin; his father Carl Frank and Stepmother Lillie Frank; his brothers, Isaiah Benson, Carl Frank Jr., DeUnta Frank, and Ishmael Martin; and his sisters, Lillian Crawford, Larina Peete, and Jasmine Frank. He was also deeply admired and loved by his grandparents, Calton Frank and Laura Warner, and will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and a great-nephew, all of whom he adored. Izzy was preceded in death by his sister Melanie Webster and grandparents, Louise Erwin and Raymond V. Martin.

Izzy’s greatest joy came from seeing others happy. Whether he was attending a family gathering, taking a spontaneous trip, or talking about his favorite cars, his enthusiasm was infectious. Those who knew him best describe him as fun, loving, determined—a true go-getter who lived life at full speed, just like the fast cars he cherished

A memorial service to honor Israel “Izzy” Martin’s life will be held at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center, 3601 S W S Young Dr, Killeen, TX 76542. Pastor Catrina Blount from Eternal Word Fellowship Church in Houston will officiate.

Izzy’s memory will forever remind us of the bond we share and the love that endures beyond all else.

“I am my brother’s keeper.”
