Gene Douglas Dean

Gene Douglas Dean passed from this life on Saturday, March 21st, 2026. Doug was born May 1, 1958 to Gene Warren Dean and Joyce Gelene Clark Dean. He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Joyce Dean. He is survived by his sister, Rene Dean; a son, Jeremiah Bailey, an Uncle and aunt, Basil and Kay Clark, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Doug graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas. He had a number of interests including but not limited to reading, playing piano, billiards, and electronics. He was a devoted pet person. He retired from Exxon Oil Company. He was a long-time resident of Baytown, Texas. Doug is fondly remembered by his many cousins who gathered each summer for decades in Lubbock for the Dean family reunion.
