I would like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who came and helped organize this event.

On June 16, 2026 our precious angel Lupito was called home. The heavens roared and cheered having received him. Lupitos’ story begins in San Luis Potosí Mexico, born into humble beginnings, but with so much love no money could ever buy. Despite being born with down syndrome and enduring two open-heart surgeries, a stomach and ear operation. He never succumb to pressure. By his side was a mother who tried her best, a grandpa who gave him a second chance in life, a grandma who made sure his belly was always full, and an older brother would go to any extent to protect him.

We fast forward in time and what we now see is a thriving country, the United States, but this time we are surrounded by aunts, uncles cousins and two little sisters. Thanks to all the families guidance Lupito walked this earth with so much confidence. Despite having strong disadvantages Lupito learned to be resilient, independent, and most importantly loving. A smile, soft hug, pat on the head, or kiss on the cheek would be sure to melt your heart. Even though Lupito had a speech impediment, he never struggled to express how he felt. He didn’t need perfect sentences, His actions said everything words couldn’t. Lupito reminded us all what love looks like wen it comes straight from the heart. Lupito was the joy of every home, his contagious laughter will forever echo in our heats. Let us not forget how much he loved each and everyone of us. God gave him a gift, a passion for singing and dancing that came so effortlessly to him. Lupito had a sweet tooth and loved ketchup on everything he ate, He loved singing lullabies, dancing to cumbias, and shooting imaginary spiderwebs from his hands just like Spider-Man. Those are just some of his many quirks that made him unique and unforgettable.

I remind everyone goodbye isn’t forever, for we will reunite with him someday. Let us honor and celebrate his life today tomorrow and forevermore by doing what he loves most.
