Edwin Perry “Eddie” Fulk July 7, 1949 – October 25, 2025
Edwin Perry “Eddie/Ed” Fulk, 76, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on October 25, 2025. Born on July 7, 1949, in Galveston, Texas, Eddie began his remarkable journey in League City as the middle of three boys, growing up with his brothers, Wes and Tommy Fulk.
After graduating from Clear Creek High School, he joined the U.S. Army, where he proudly served his country for 24 years. His time in the military took him around the world, shaping him into the dedicated soldier and true patriot he was known to be. Upon retirement, he returned home to the parents he adored, Ruby and Lester Fulk, and soon after enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State University. He received a master’s in Special Education, demonstrating his dedication to helping others.
Eddie went on to teach in Chester, Texas, where his students and colleagues affectionately called him “Special Ed.” After more than a decade of teaching, he retired and moved to Jasper, Texas, joining the Circuit Riders Motorcycle Ministry, where he found brotherhood, purpose, and joy in riding, fellowship, and faith. His love for cars and motorcycles was lifelong — a true reflection of his free spirit and adventurous heart.
When his health no longer allowed him to ride, Eddie returned to the Houston area and found comfort in the companionship of friends at the Alvin Senior Center. It was there he met his special group of friends 'The Misfits' and Roxanne Dalton, who graciously opened her heart and home, caring for him during his final season of life.
Eddie was an incredibly unique individual who left a lasting mark on all the lives he touched. He was hilarious, sometimes brash, quick-witted, strong-willed, very generous, and endlessly brave. Those who knew him loved him for his honesty, humor, and unapologetic authenticity.
He is survived by his daughters, Kelli and Amanda Fulk; his grandchildren, Alexis Norman, Cole Griffith, and Austin Ellis; and his great-grandchildren, Iris Krystof, Elias Williams, Lotus Norman, and Ares Norman. He also leaves behind his brothers, Wes Fulk and Tommy Fulk, the mother of his two daughters, Mona DeWitt and his companion, Roxanne Dalton and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Alvin Senior Center, 309 W Sealy St, Alvin, TX 77511.
Our Father’s laughter, courage, and generous spirit will echo in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
