Diane, 66,  passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026 in Anahuac, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family.

Diane was born April 23, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to parents Gene Kendall Miley and Elsie Larue Hash. At age 10, her family moved to Texas where she grew up and remained throughout her life. She went to school in Rockport, TX.

Diane was known by her smile, she could light up a room anywhere she went. She was known in her early years as Smiley Miley.

Diane was an avid dog lover, always had her dog, Rusty, in her lap.

Diane was a long time member of VFW in Romayor, TX and Amvets in Rye, TX, as well as previously serving as President over the Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

Diane enjoyed lounging in the sunshine. She spent a lot of time at the beach or poolside. The Flats in Aransas Pass, TX was a home away from home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lynn Cromer, father, Gene Kendall Miley, her step-mother that raised her, Patricia Ann Younglove and her sister Sherry Alexander.

Left to cherish her memory, mother, Elsie Larue Hash, sisters, Deborah Bono, Janis Hendrickson, Sheri Cullers, Janna Warner, brothers, Dennis Miley, David Miley, Jerry Alexander, and Jamie Alexander, children, Diona Davis and husband Blu of Pearland, TX, Derrick Ball and wife Rebecca of Anahuac, TX, and Brandy Ball of Dayton, TX. grandchildren, Mason Sumrall, Alexys Gerlich, Andrew Hays, Ezren Davis, Ariel Ball, Tayler Caulfield, Braike Jones and Odel Cook. great grandchildren, Rider Gerlich, Nala Ball, Reese Gerlich, and Riley Gerlich.

The family is having a private memorial.
