David Wayne Volkots was born in Woodriver, Illinois on November 11, 1967. He grew up in Galveston, Texas where he would soon find his love for the beach. He enjoyed anything that included motorcycles, classic cars and wolves. You could always find David listening to classic rock as his favorite bands were Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. David was a rebellious free spirit with a crazy sense of humor.
He spent his career in the industrial field working under Catalyst Technologies for 20 years as a Guzzler Vacuum Truck Operator and Project Manager. During this time, he traveled nationwide and world wide. After leaving Catalyst Technologies, he then worked under the company called Cat-Spec as a Superintendent. His final occupation was with Samson Controls as a Lead Valve Builder. In his final days, he was retired. He is preceded in death by his Father, Donald Wayne Volkots and Mother, Patricia Jean Volkots. He is survived by his daughters, Brittany Volkots and Amanda Volkots, former spouse of 36 years, Ann Kloesel-Volkots and Sister Regina Volkots. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
