Cynthia Harden Fojtik, of Katy, Texas, passed away on October 4, 2025, after a courageous ten-year battle with Multiple Myeloma and the early signs of Dementia. She was born on October 26, 1958, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and lived a life filled with love, dedication, and creativity.
Cynthia was a loving mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She devoted her life to her family, creating countless memories through her passion for cooking. The meals she prepared were not just sustenance; they were expressions of her love and care, leaving an indelible impression on her family.
Her love for dogs was evident throughout her life, particularly through her commitment to breeding Salukis. Yet, her fondness extended to all dog breeds, reflecting her compassionate nature and her ability to bond with animals just as fiercely as she did with people.
Cynthia was a gifted builder, embracing every task with determination and skill. There was no challenge too great for her; she approached life with a can-do attitude, ensuring that everything she undertook was done with excellence.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Alan Fojtik, and her beloved children, Marsha Adams, Trenton Adams, and Charlie Dyche. Her siblings, June Ilene Speidel, along with her cherished nieces and nephews, will also miss her dearly.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Mack Haden, her mother, Patsy Ann Seawright, and her sisters, Tamey Kay Harden and Dixie Fay Harden. Though she has departed from this world, her legacy of love and resilience will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
