Charles Dale Uzzell was born in New Orleans, LA on July 11, 1969 and passed peacefully at his home on June 27, 2026. He spent his early years living in Port Arthur, TX until a family move to Vidor, TX where he was raised and continued to live for the remainder of his life. Dale, was a hardworking, hard loving man who dedicated himself to his wife, children and family. His favorite title was always PawPaw. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He never met a stranger and developed many friends that thought highly of him. He was always quick to lend a helping hand. He was a man of God, but he was humble in his faith and didn't make a show of it. He enjoyed good times with friends and family, throwing darts, caring for his lawn and riding his motorcycle.

Dale is survived by his loving wife Donna Uzzell of 12 years having spent a total of 16 years together. He also survived by his only daughter Jessica Mott and husband Jeremy of Vidor, his step-daughter Shannon Klink of Lumberton, his treasured grandchildren Nevaeh, Aaron, Joy, Colton, Jeremy Jr and Sawyer. His big sis Vicky Gill and husband John of Vidor, TX, his brother James “Jimmy” Uzzell of Vidor, TX, his sister Kandi Adamson and husband Patrick of Pensacola, Fla, his brother Quincy Uzzell and wife Susan of Long Beach, MS and Randy Boyd of Belen, New Mexico. His MawMaw Boyd of Port Arthur, TX plus many nieces and nephews and beloved cousins.

He is preceded in death by his only son Charles Derek Uzzell, His loving mother Gloria Mae Boyd and his father James R. Boyd. His PawPaw and MawMaw Hebert of Port Arthur, TX and many Aunts and Uncles.

A Memorial for Dale will be held July 25, 2026 at Benoit’s Louis Hall Event Center 3085 TX-12 Vidor, TX from 2 PM-5 PM
