Charles Bogle

Charles “Chuck” Bogle, 76, of Hallettsville, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home, on August 9, 2026 surrounded by the family he devoted his life to. Born on July 7, 1950, in Hamlin, Texas, Chuck grew up with a strong sense of duty and grit that carried him through every chapter of his life. He lived a life defined by service, hard work, and devotion to the people he loved.

He served his country in the United States Army with pride and honor until a medical discharge brought him back home. Chuck never stopped working hard—whether in the oil field, under the hood of a truck as a skilled mechanic, or behind the wheel of an 18‑wheeler traveling the open roads he loved. His businesses, Chuck’s Auto and Body Shop and Lazy B Trucking, were more than jobs; they were reflections of his determination, skill, and commitment. His work ethic was unmatched, and he took great pride in every mile traveled and every job completed. Through these businesses, he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of countless customers, coworkers, and friends.

Chuck is survived by his children, Charles Bogle Jr and wife Tina, Linda Rodriguez and husband Manuel, Shannon Copley and wife Amber, La Kesha Robert and husband Shawn, Patricia Bogle and husband Timothy; his 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Annie and Rose Mary Bogle, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Martha Bogle of Hamlin, TX and 8 siblings.

Chuck’s greatest joy in life was his family. His strength, humor, and steady presence shaped the lives of everyone who loved him. His legacy lives on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love he gave so freely. His presence, guidance, and steady strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
