Arthur Edward Schubert, fondly known as Art, born on December 1, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas. He lived a remarkable life as a devoted draftsman and designer, contributing his talents and skills with a commitment that mirrored his passionate love for his family.
Art proudly served in the Army, a testament to his dedication to his country. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a 5th degree mason, an achievement that highlighted his dedication and hard work within the masonry community. Art’s warmth and unwavering love for his family defined his character; he was the best dad and grandpa, spending countless treasured moments with his loved ones, particularly cherishing activities with his grandchildren.
His hobbies included gardening and bird watching, pursuits that brought him joy and fulfillment while providing a peaceful retreat from everyday life. These activities not only reflected his appreciation for nature but also created an opportunity for connection with his family, a source of pride for him.
Art is survived by his loving daughter, Terra Schubert; his son, Mike Schubert; and his beloved granddaughter, Traya Moquin. He took great joy in the presence of his great-grandchildren, Taylor Moquin, Sabrina Lake, and Trace Lake, as well as Ian Schubert. The laughter and love shared among them were precious memories that will be held dear by all who knew him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and family values that will continue to inspire future generations. Arthur Edward Schubert will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
