Alana Kristen Odom

The sudden passing of Alana Odom, age 31, has left a profound and aching void for everyone who loved her.

Alana brought light into every room she entered. She was an artistic, adventurous, thoughtful, and compassionate spirit whose warmth and radiance touched so many lives. She loved creating, exploring, and giving of herself freely; her laughter and creativity were gifts to friends and family alike. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother whose care and tenderness shaped the lives of her children.

Alana is survived by her three children: Mackenzie, age 12; Benjamin, age 7; and Sebastian, age 5. She is also survived by her parents, Layne and April Beard of Magnolia Tx, her sister Bailey Beard, her brother Leo Beard and her grandparents, Mike and Brenda Odom of Spring Tx, who will miss her terribly. She was a cherished granddaughter, daughter, sister, mother and friend whose presence will be deeply missed every day. Alana’s loving spirit will live on through her children and the many people she touched. The memories she made—her creativity, her adventurous heart, and her compassion— will continue to guide and comfort those who loved her. Not a day will go by that she is not remembered.
